Scotty B: Austin Wilde 2009/2010 was a fun ride for you... especially with being named Raging Stallion Man of the Year with David Taylor, how that title been treating you?
Austin Wilde: Oh you have no idea! Which is why you asked, I guess haha. Its definitely been nothing but good. Its given me lots of publicity and helped me get lots of club appearances. Which is one of my favorite parts of my job because I LOVE meeting new people. And its definitely a good thing to throw on the ole resume
Scotty B: Has it changed the way you live your day to day life at all?
Austin Wilde: Not at all. I still consider myself to be just a normal guy from the MidWest...that happens to do porn...and be okay at it haha
Scotty B: Raging Stallion was nominated for a lot of awards this year but what I don't get is why you were only nominated for one individual award 'Best New Comer.' What happened?
Austin Wilde: Your guess is as good as mine. You know something is fucked up when I was only nominated for one...and it was that: Best Newcomer? I've been in the industry for 2 years now, I'm hardly a newcomer. It should make for a very interesting, probably not sober, acceptance speech, if I win :)
Scotty B: Are there any categories you feel that you should have been nominated for?
Austin Wilde: Im not gonna lie, my scene with Dominic Pacifico in "The Visitor" was pretty hot. Something for that would have been nice. But in all reality, I dont need awards to justify my success in the industry.
Scotty B: I personally think you should have been thrown a nom for 'Hottest Cock' but obviously I'm not a judge for the Grabby's! Thoughts?
Austin Wilde: That is another category that came to mind. I've seen quite a few cocks in my days (shut up!)...so along with compliments ive recieved for mine, I also agree with you. But like you said, I'm not a judge either.
Scotty B: Either way you were nominated for 'Best Newcomer' and you have some pretty rugged competition for the category, including: Josh Griffin, Adam Killian, Mitchell Rock, Samuel Colt, David Taylor and Jeremy BIlding, who do you want to win if you don't?
Austin Wilde: Either Samuel Colt or Jeremy Bilding. Samuel because, in my eyes, hes the only ACTUAL "newcomer" on the list. And Jeremy Bilding because I actually like him. And lets face it, thats what its all about, right?
Scotty B: So tell us, do you have a date to the GRABBY’s yet?
Austin Wilde: I do. And no, im not saying who. Its a surprise!
Scotty B: Are you single man right now or taken?
Austin Wilde: Currently single. And after my last pathetic excuse for a relationship, I plan on keeping it that way for a bit. Especially with my spring/summer schedule already packed, its best that way.
Scotty B: Finally, is there any nominees you’re looking forward to meeting this year at the GRABBY’S that you haven't met previously?
Austin Wilde: I actually met A LOT of guys that Ive been wanting to at The Phoenix Forum in early April...so that doesnt help this question. The ones I haven't, and I don't think they're nominees, but Landon Conrad. And Brett Sawnson because, well, lets face it ;-)
