 Scotty B: Josh Griffin, 2010 has been a great year for your career judging from the five Grabby Nominations you’ve received… are you excited and can you tell your fans what the nomination nods are?
Josh Griffin: This past year has been so much fun and I am so unbelievably thankful for all the opportunities that I’ve been presented with, the studios I have worked for and the friendships made. I am very excited for this year's Grabby’s and even more so this being my first time going.
I feel really and truly honored to have received so many nominations my first real year in the business. I am so thankful for the recognition; I can only hope that I win maybe one!
Scotty B: Let’s first talk about your nomination for ‘Best Cum Scene,’ for the Channel 1 Releasing moving Gridiron Gang Bang. Why do you think this was such a standout scene and who’s cum shot was the best overall… besides yours!
Josh Griffin: Wow, well aside from cumming twice in the scene (I don't know of that made the final cut) one of the guys notorious for one of the best cum shots around is Dayton O'Connor.
Scotty B: You have some pretty stiff competition for the ‘Best Newcomer' category! Which of the nominees do you consider competition?
Josh Griffin: Hell, all of them are! All the guys are great performers and most are good friends of mine, so it's difficult to pick one out and say, that ‘I'm better than him.’ Additionally, everyone knows as soon as one is called out, drama ensues, bloggers write stories about a feud, it's not cute... we’re all talented and deserving in our own right; we have all put in a lot of effort over the last year, so let the best man win!
Scotty B: Okay, let’s be totally honest, we’re both friends and I’m curious as to why you think you weren’t nominated for ‘Performer of the Year.’
Josh Griffin: I really don't know... Lord knows I’ve performed A LOT over the past year, but honestly it’s ok with me. The guys that all received the nomination are definitely deserving and good guys... well most of them ;-)
Scotty B: Dishing some dirty, without naming any names is there one or two guys on that list you’d easily swap out in turn for your name?
Josh Griffin: Right off the top of my head, YES, I can think of one...
Scotty B: Lastly on the topic, do you think you deserved to be nominated for 'Performer of the Year', or are you content with the other noms you received? Also, what nomination are you most proud of?
Josh Griffin: It would have been nice to have that one as well under my belt, but I am perfectly content and honored to have as many as I do, especially the 'Best Duo': CarJackers with Marcus Steele nomination. That scene was one of my more difficult to shoot and what I’m most proud of and the final product turned out great! Of course I am also thrilled to be mentioned in 'Best Newcomer' and also for all the Nominations for Channel 1 Releasing's: Gridiron Gangbang.
