News Brief:  Marriage Equality in Israel?

Israel is, without a doubt, the most progressive society in the Middle East when it comes to LGBT rights.  Tel Aviv’s annual pride regularly attracts more than 100,000 participants and the seaside city is celebrated as one of the top LGBT destinations in the world.  There is still a lot of progress to be made however, both in terms of societal acceptance and legal rights.

News Brief - Condoms for ALL in Californian Porn

Rubber up or hit the road.

That’s essentially the message proponents of a new ballot initiative are sending to the adult film industry in California.  The measure to require condoms in all California porn productions was proposed by Michael Weinstein, president of the Los Angeles-based AIDS Healthcare Foundation.  Weinstein has previously come under scrutiny for referring to PrEP (Truvada) as a “party drug.”
