Today I Smiled…

Hits: 1451

To begin : My deepest sympathy goes out to everyone whose lives were touched by these horrible evils in New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania. You, and the lost friends and family dear to you, are in my prayers.

Today, at work, a coworker said something funny, I laughed quietly to myself and smiled. I realized it was the first time in days I could remember smiling. I have to say I had been in a state of mental-disbelief as to the entire past 3 days. The horrific images being shown on television, are a constant reminder of the attack on our home.

Desperately trying to make sense of everything; I remember something my father used to say, “Try to look for the good in everything.” Watching the images of the people in New York, selflessly giving assistant to those whose lives were shattered. This reaching out of man, to help one another, working as one, shows us just what this country stands for, FREEDOM! We must never forget that. Remember those souls whom are no longer among us in your prayers.

God Bless!
Love and hugs,
Nick Young
